HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As you probably know, Karine and Tara are running in this year’s London Marathon and will be raising money for Whizz Kidz and MACS – charities which improve the lives of disabled children.

They have a joint target of almost £2,500 and to help them on their way, the Diddlers are organising a Coffee Morning and Gift Fair at the Bow Room in The Exchange on Saturday, 28th March.

Tables will be available to hire to anyone a little ‘crafty’ for £5. The Diddlers will also be running tables selling bric-a-brac and cakes – there will also be a raffle.

So, what do we need to do?

Well, displaying a poster would be great. Donations of cakes, bric-a-brac and raffle prizes would be fantastic. And what about on the day? We need coffee makers, marigold wearers, someone to collect the 50p entrance fee/sell raffle tickets and market traders to sell the cakes and bric-a- brac.

Can you help in any way?

Put the date in your diary – 28th March - we will be serving coffee from 10-12 – but need to be there by 9 to set up and generally panic.

If you know of anyone who would like to rent a table to sell their own goods, please pass my telephone number to them. And finally, if you can help in any way, please let me know ASAP.

Thank you

Helen

Apologies!

Sorry!

I meant to start a thread about New Year resolutions and forgot!

So, to kick it off - which Diddler's New Year resolution is to try and wear matching bra and knickers?

Anyone fancy a bop?

Remember the eighties?

Remember the looks? The clothes, the hair?

Re-live those memories on 3rd April at The Exchange.

It's a themed disco organised by Rachel Baker in aid of Ovacom (ovarian cancer)

Kerry needs our help!

(Kerry is third on the left, front row)

Does anyone remember Kerry? Kerry ran with us a couple of times last year.

Well, later this year she's off to Sri Lanka again to work in an orphanage for girls affected by the tsunami.

She needs to raise money for the trip and has organised a show at The Exchange on 6th February.

Who's topping the bill?

3Way
Stur Steppers
Nick Tatham

If you're interested in going, tickets are on sale from The Exchange http://www.stur-exchange.co.uk/
