Coffee time?

As you probably know, Karine and Tara are running in this year’s London Marathon and will be raising money for Whizz Kidz and MACS – charities which improve the lives of disabled children.

They have a joint target of almost £2,500 and to help them on their way, the Diddlers are organising a Coffee Morning and Gift Fair at the Bow Room in The Exchange on Saturday, 28th March.

Tables will be available to hire to anyone a little ‘crafty’ for £5. The Diddlers will also be running tables selling bric-a-brac and cakes – there will also be a raffle.

So, what do we need to do? Well, displaying a poster would be great. Donations of cakes, bric-a-brac and raffle prizes would be fantastic. And what about on the day? We need coffee makers, marigold wearers, someone to collect the 50p entrance fee/sell raffle tickets and market traders to sell the cakes and bric-a- brac.

Can you help in any way?

Put the date in your diary – 28th March - we will be serving coffee from 10-12 – but need to be there by 9 to set up and generally panic. If you know of anyone who would like to rent a table to sell their own goods, please pass my telephone number to them. And finally, if you can help in any way, please let me know ASAP.

Thank you

Helen
